ADVENT OF IMAM MENHDI
CHAPTER 55 – BURHANPUR
Swami Shri Laldas ji described
further, in this chapter that from Aurangabad ,
Shri ji arrived at Burhanpur. Shri ji again sent messenger to Delhi to convey His Divine Message to
Aurangzeb, the Emperor and also described in respect of the event of the battle
between the Divine persons of Shri ji and the devil-minded Muslims, who were
the followers of ‘Shariyat’.
Shri Laldas ji reached Delhi . He met Qazi Seikh
Islam at his home. He handed over him the letter of Shri ji.
Qazi called Shri Laldas ji in the
house and asked him, “Where have you been so far? What for have you come here?”
Shri Laldas ji replied to him –
“O Seikh Islam! Sadguru Mahamati
Shri Prannath ji has sent me to meet you and also to obtain reply of the letter,
which you may kindly go through thoroughly.
“Earlier, Malookchand arrived
here from Ajmer
with the queries pertaining to the secrets of Quran. You might have read the
same. Kindly give proper replies to the same queries.”
Qazi Seikh Islam opined, “The
secrets of Quran have been revealed, which you have also understood well. But I
am at present busy here with my friends, hence I shall meet with you in this
matter later on.
“You may come tomorrow morning,
then I shall discuss with you. Now I am going somewhere. We shall meet and talk
tomorrow morning.”
Next day morning, Swami Shri
Laldas ji and Noor Mohammed reached to meet Qazi, who was a staunch follower of
‘Shariyat’.
Seikh Islam and his friends were
sitting there. They asked for the booklet containing series of queries
concerning the secrets of Quran. They began to discuss about it.
Seikh Islam and his friends read
the booklet and they expressed their views that the contents of the booklet
were wrong and doubtful. Laldas ji replied, “What can I say to you? You do not
know exactly the correct meaning of Quran.
“These queries are based on the
‘Hadeesh’, an allied Holy Book of Quran, which you opine to be incorrect. Now
how should I talk with you in respect of Qayamat as referred to in Quran?”
Seikh Islam expressed, “I shall
not say that the contents of Quran & its allied Holy Book ‘Hadeesh’ are
incorrect, but what is written in this booklet appears to have been written by
some illiterate person, hence not written correctly.”
Shri Laldas ji then said to him,
“Do not blame like this to censure the writer. You may kindly see what these
secrets of Quran infer, so that you may reach the depth of the ocean of the
Divine Knowledge.”
Because they were the staunch
followers of ‘Shariyat’, the devil in their minds created the nuisance and
they, then snatched the booklet from Shri Laldas ji. They started quarrelling by
uttering the harsh language.
Neither Qazi nor any of his
friends could reply to the queries as the correct interpretations of Quran were
not known to any of them, nor they tried to comprehend the same, hence they
angered and spoke –
“In this new booklet you have
copied out the Iyets of Quran and interpreted them incorrectly. It appears you
people have become jealous and against Islam Religion.”
Seikh Islam and his friends
threatened them by giving awful misunderstanding about the Holy Book –Quran:
this made Shri Laldas ji to anger and he snatched the booklet from the
possession of Seikh Islam.
The Qazi then spoke, “I shall
keep this book with me.” Then he again snatched the booklet from Laldas ji and
handed over it to his servant to preserve it.
Qazi then cunningly spoke,
showing his artificial politeness, “Now what do you say about the book?”
But Shri Laldas ji at once
guessed the intention that the devil-minded people were not honest: perhaps
they could attempt to kill him and would not at all adhere to him.
Again Qazi with showy courtesy
but cunningly spoke, “What have you intended to speak me in respect of the Holy
Book Quran as it pleases me to hear you?” Shri Laldas ji felt sorry for his way
of talking.
Qazi spoke again and again, “You
claim to disclose the fact about the ‘Advent of Imam Menhdi’ amongst you.” Then
Shri Laldas ji replied –
“What can I say unto you? Your
honour! I shall say what I have already said earlier: and now nothing else.”
Seikh Islam taunted, “The person
who wrote this letter did not achieve the goal and has been searching a path to
proceed on.” Shri Laldas ji then spoke with anger, “You should not speak like
this – it is wrong.
Shri Laldas ji continued, “I
shall never come to see and convey the Divine Message of ‘Imam Menhdi’ about
Qayamat. I shall return to my home with my Divine Knowledge of Islam.”
Qazi and his friends called again
Shri Laldas ji, but Shri Laldas ji saw them disloyal to Shri ji, hence he
decided not to see their face any more.
The Divine Persons (Shri Laldas
ji & Noor Mohammed) then arrived at the residence of Mufti Abdul Rehman,
whom they conveyed the Divine Knowledge of Shri ji regarding the ‘Advent of
Imam Menhdi’ and the secrets of Quran as prophesied by Mohammed Paigambar that
the Day of Justice -‘Qayamat’ commenced along with the ‘Advent of Imam Menhdi’.
Shri Laldas ji narrated the whole
story of his meeting with the Qazi and his friends. He told him that Seikh
Islam became antagonist to misinterpret the indications of the Holy Book Quran,
when he was told about the Divine Knowledge.
Shri Laldas ji further continued,
“Now I am speaking to you about the Divine Knowledge of the ‘Lord’ (Allah), so
that you may not blame me later on or say that I did not speak to you about the
Divine Message, lest you should repent.”
“Both of us have hailed from
‘Super Eternal Abode’ which is our ‘Arsh-Azeem (Paramdham)’, hence we are
fraternal to each other. I am, therefore, entitled to force you by twisting the
ears to attract your attention to my words: I have beheld the face of Prophet
Rasool the ‘Messenger’ of Allah (Shri Raj ji) in the guise of Shri ji and met
Him in person. You must have faith in Him and recognize Him.”
Mufti Abdul Rehman replied, “As
per Quran, Mohammed Paigambar promised to re-appear on the earth at the
occasion of ‘Qayamat’, which is not due to happen in the present time. Then why
did you come to speak about ‘Qayamat’ now?”
Shri Laldas ji expressed, “How
did you know that the appropriate time of Qayamat is not due at this occasion?”
Mufti replied, “There is mention about Qayamat in the Holy Book ‘Iqtalaf’, but
I could not comprehend the contents of the book perfectly; hence I am not clear
to come to any conclusion of this.”
Shri Laldas ji asked Mufti to
bring that book and he would give proper explanation to tally the dates
mentioned therein in order to prove that the appropriate time of ‘Qayamat’ had
become due (since the period of one thousand and one hundred years had elapsed
after the departure of Mohammed Paigambar from the world, who promised to
re-appear the next day and a day of Heaven is equal to one thousand years of
the earth, which elapsed by then.
Shri Laldas ji then quoted
certain references of Quran indicating the event of ‘Qayamat’ and allied
‘Advent of Imam Menhdi’. Also he answered the queries related with the
quotations. Mufti opined that these events had relation with the past, and the
same were described as the stories in Quran.
Shri Laldas ji then remarked,
“You –Muslim commit mistake to understand the contents of Quran. You treat the
events mentioned in Quran as the stories. The past has elapsed and you say that
Quran is related with past history or the stories.
“You know that Prophet Mohammed
promised to re-appear on the earth the next day at the occasion of ‘Qayamat’
along with the ‘Lord Supreme’. How do you say that Quran is related with the
past? All these events described in the past tense would become past at the
occasion of Qayamat, but at present the same are related with the present,
which are happening to prove the prophecy of the Prophet regarding Qayamat, as
the same has become due. The Divine Soul of Mohammed Paigambar has re-appeared
as ‘Imam Menhdi’- Mahamati Shri Prannath ji, who revealed the secrets of Quran.
“As per Quran, the re-appearance
of Mohammed Paigambar was promised when the Momin- the Divine Souls of
‘Lahoot’- the Super Eternal abode –Paramdham would also descend on the earth:
the associates of Imam Menhdi are the Divine Souls –Momin. I (Laldas) am
telling you that Momin have now descended, this is a fact, which you must
understand well; otherwise you would say that you are not informed. Do not,
hence blame me.”
Shri Laldas ji stayed with Mufti
for three days. Then he received a letter of Shri ji, in which he was asked to
leave Delhi at
once. Shri ji wrote the letter for particular purpose as He mentioned in the
letter to comply with His order immediately.
Narayan das, an associate brought
the letter as a messenger of Shri ji. He spoke, “Do not waste any time even for
taking drinking water –leave Delhi
immediately –at once.”
Shri ji also wrote in the letter,
“The Muslim-people are strict followers of ‘Shariyat’, hence they do not
believe in the contents of Quran regarding the event of Qayamat (which they had
misinterpreted as a troublesome occasion). They are also devil-minded and may
frame charges to treat you accused and arrest for punishment according to their
whim.”
Shri Laldas ji along with Noor
Mohammed accompanied Narain das to proceed from Delhi . They had been talking in the way that
these persons, the followers of ‘Shariyat’ would never believe to get
enlightened with the Divine Message of Shri ji.
Shri Laldas ji said that all
these three persons (including him) reached Burhanpur after covering the
distance from Delhi
to the destination in three days. On reaching there, they prostrated at the Lotus
Feet of Shri ji. Then they informed Shri ji of all the details –what happened
to them at Delhi ,
when they met Seikh Islam. They expressed their gratefulness to Shri ji, who
saved them from the danger of death and granted them the shelter near His Lotus
Feet.
Shri Laldas ji said, “O
Sundersath ji! This chapter related with the events happened at Burhanpur is
closed: Now the further history of Akot would be described, how Shri ji
protected the Sundersath there by pouring the showers of His immense Grace.

CHAPTER 56 – RASOOL SE MUNKAR
Swami Shri Laldas ji said that in
the tenth chapter of Quran, at page 27, it is mentioned that the Muslim, who
were following ‘Shariyat’ strictly, had a combat on the basis of their
knowledge with the Brahmashristies –the Momin.
As per Quran a respected person
of Keenan, who was Qazi too, of the Emperor of the State, was follower of
‘Shariyat’. He refused to accept the principles sermonized by Mohammed Prophet
regarding ‘Qayamat’ (the Ultimate Day of Justice).
Shri Laldas ji said that when the
Divine Souls –Momin assembled together, all others of the world, too, came
forward to have faith in Divine Knowledge preached by Mahamati Shri Prannath
ji. This event is related with the ‘Sixth Day –Friday’ concerning with the
purpose of creation of the Universe, which was operational for ten years from
Vikram Samvat 1748 to 1758 (1691 to 1701 A D). The people in general recognized
Shri ji as ‘Imam Menhdi’.
The Sundersath, the associates
began to talk with each other as they remembered the details of the discussion
held between them in ‘Mool-Milava’, Paramdham and thereafter Shri Raj ji
ordered for the creation of the dreamy world.
When Seikh Islam, Qazi was told
about the discussion held between the ‘Lord Supreme’ and the Brahmashristies in
Paramdham, he refused to accept what the Divine Persons spoke to him. He told,
“I can not recollect if any such event has taken place: I did not talk with
‘Lord’ (Allah). You all are telling lie.”
All those who acquired the
knowledge to have faith in the ‘Lord’ censured solidly such arrogant Muslim,
who followed ‘Shariyat’ only, as they also, misguided those who were seekers of
the ‘Truth’.
Those, who were anxious to learn
the Divine Knowledge, could not achieve the goal because of the fear of
Aurangzeb and his cruel officers; they also blamed Aurangzeb and his officers.
Shri Laldas ji while closing the
chapter described that the misbehaviour of Aurangzeb and his officers with Momin
or the Divine Souls has been described in Quran.

CHAPTER 57 – AKOT KEE BEETAK
Swami Shri Laldas ji in this
chapter said that Shri ji left Burhanpur for Akot, where He lived for four
months. He continued His sacred job of preaching. He remembered all Sundersath
in order to chalk out further programme.
From Akot, a letter was sent to
Fattoo Allah at Aurangabad
in which queries about the initiation of Quran, the sacred words of the
‘Almighty’ were mentioned.
“Mohammed Prophet established
Islam Religion with the intention of welfare to the mankind. His solemn message
could be spread, but you have created nuisance and have had struggle with me,
while I delivered my discourses of the Divine Message,” said Shri ji.
The letter continued, “You
prohibited those, too, who showed their interest to listen to me. You had
protested against ‘Allah’ –the Supreme Lord, without thinking over the ‘pros
& cons’ about your misconduct. You had quarreled with the enlightened
Souls.”
The contents of the letter
continued, “Now the queries of Quran are being sent to you, which may please be
replied. You appear to be a learned fellow; hence you must furnish the proper
replies.
“If you could furnish proper and
appropriate replies to the queries, I shall accept to become Muslim and serve
you as your slave to please you. I shall listen to your discourses of Islam.
“Kindly make us understand the
contents of Quran as the same has been dictated to Mohammed Paigambar by Allah
– the Supreme Lord. I shall not hesitate to comply with you and request you to
grant me permission to follow Islam Religion.
“I persistently pressurize you to
refrain from all sorts of routine, even dining, till you, first, give the
replies to these queries and satisfy me.”
Mahamati Shri Prannath ji
continued in the letter, “If you shall furnish replies to the queries and
satisfy me, not only I but many lakh Hindus would follow me and accept to
become Muslim very happily. It is an important task for you to do in the
interest of Holy Religion. Why do you delay? What more important work is with
you to do with priority?
“Quran contains praiseworthy
words in respect of ‘Nazi-folk’ – the Divine Souls (Momin), superior to other
folks of ‘Nari-groups’. If you possess qualification to be amongst the Divine
Souls –Momin, you must explain the secrets of Quran with the correct and
appropriate interpretations with which purpose the Almighty (Allah) has
dictated Mohammed Paigambar to pronounce the sacred words.
“Mohammed Paigambar visited
‘Lahoot’- Paramdham and described in Quran about twelve thousand Divine Souls,
hailed from Paramdham to descend on the Earth. If you recognize yourself to one
of them, kindly inform me well about Paramdham and the love-plays, being played
by the twelve thousand Divine Souls with the Almighty there.
“In Amet Saloon, the Holy Islamic
Book, due honour has been paid with their praises to the Divine Souls as they
are extremely praiseworthy being unique. Do you belong to that group? Please
tell me.”
Mahamati Shri Prannath ji further
wrote in the letter, “The Momin – Divine Souls have descended from Paramdham,
the highly self-illuminated ‘Super Eternal Abode’ of the Almighty. If you also
hail from that ‘Abode’, please reply to me accordingly.
“In the Holy Book –Bible of the
Christians, the place of Eternal Salvation has been named as ‘Lahoot’. Kindly
reveal your identity if you belong to that place.
“In Quran (the Holy Book),
containing the sacred words dictated by the ‘Lord’ (Allah) to Mohammed
Paigambar, the name of ‘Jews’ creed has been mentioned. Mohammed Paigambar
promised to re-appear amongst them to establish the Religion of Mankind.
“Bani-Israel Angel, later on also
known as Dhani Shri Devchandra ji, would lead Brahmashristies –Momin and they
would be famous to be known as the prominent among all societies. If you are
one of them, please inform me.”
“During the period of one
thousand nights equal to eighty four years, the Momin- Brahmashristies were due
to descend on the earth and the period would be praiseworthy as it is related
with the mercy showered by Shri Raj over the Divine Souls and the mankind by
sending Rooh-Allah, HIS Better Half (Shri Shyama ji) along with Divine Souls.
Shri Shyama ji appeared in the person of Dhani Shri Devchandra ji. He revealed
the mysteries of Quran. Do you possess such ability, kindly tell me?”
Mahamati Shri Prannath ji further
asked him in the letter, “I have mentioned the characteristics of Momin –the
Divine Souls of ‘Lahoot’- Paramdham. Think yourself, to which group do you
belong? If you are unable to reply, please come to me. I shall explain in
details to enable you to consider over the matter.”
Shri ji sent the letter to Fattoo
Allah, Aurangabad
in which he wrote the above-mentioned matter. Fattoo Allah did not find clues
to answer any query; hence he got ashamed. Three more letters of the same type
were also sent to Aurangabad
in the names of Hidayatulla, the Qazi, Diwan Amanat Khan and Bahadur Khan, the
chief of the State.
At Akot Shri ji stayed for four
months and sent such letters mentioning therein the Divine Message to enlighten
them. But these Muslim were badly
involved in the illusionary world and their hearts were as hard as that of the
deceased human beings; hence they did not try to learn the Divine Knowledge,
nor could they recognize the ‘Personality’ of Shri ji.
Avval Khan had a great
inclination towards Shri ji; hence he left his brother and came up to Akot to
prostrate at the Lotus Feet of his ‘Lord’ (Shri ji).
Mahamati Shri Prannath ji gave
him an understanding to contemplate by deep-meditation (Chitvani) to visualize
by your heart’s eyes the Splendour of Shri Raj ji –the ‘Lord’. He spoke, “By
this deep contemplation, even you live with other members of your family you
shall keep ‘Maya’ away and get rid of its illusions. You shall feel yourself by
your consciousness to be near the Almighty. Whenever, we shall reach ‘Our Super
Eternal Abode’ –
“I shall call upon you there;
hence do not get worried or be unhappy. I treat you as a part of my Soul. You
are a true brave man with immense patience in the heart.
“You may stay at your discretion
amongst your brethren. The work of ‘Jaagni’- the time of the Group-enlightenment
of the Divine Souls of Paramdham has become due to take place. You have already
attained the capability to feel your conscious presence in Paramdham –‘Mool-Milava’,
where your Super Divine Soul has been sitting along with others calmly.”
The Chief of Akot – Choudhary had
understood about Shri ji to be a Renowned Saint. He was very much impressed by
listening to the Divine Discourses of Shri ji. He performed the sacred services
to the extent as the general people pay respects to a Holy Person. He had a bit
faith.
He invited Shri ji and
Sundersath, two or four times and welcomed them at his residence and arranged
nice feasts to honour them all. He cooled various kinds of foods to please Shri
ji by observing hygienic rules.
Chaudhary invited respectfully
Shri ji and all Sundersath to entertain them sumptuously on grand feasts. He,
too, sat together with all the members of his family to dine. He felt
gratefulness to accompany Shri ji.
Chaudhary got obliged on enjoying
with Sundersath in the programme of ‘Keertan’ –devotional songs and adhering to
the sacred discourses of Shri ji. He enjoyed and satisfied his soul’s hunger to
the extent he was related with the Divine Soul of Paramdham. He performed the
pious services to the best of his capacity.
A Brahmin, an attendant-servant
of the Chief of Barad Tehsil (located nearby Akot), also came over there to
listen to the sacred discourses of Shri ji.
Shri ji delivered discourses in
respect of the high of Kabeer, which he listened to in the melodious voice of
Shri ji. He then got fully acquainted with the ‘Absolute’ (and reached the
state of ‘Haqiqat’ concerned with the Ishwarshristies). He experienced the
Divine Light in his soul.
He crossed the limits of the worldly
senses and his soul reached the Eternal Abode, where he beheld ‘Darshan’ of the
Lord Supreme by the influence of the zeal-power granted to him by the ‘Lord’.
He forgot even ‘self’ and recited repeatedly “Too hi Too hai”. (It is Thou to
create, organize and destroy every thing.)
Although that Brahmin went to his
home, yet he came again & again and prostrated at the Lotus Feet of Shri
ji. He was blessed with the boon of the Divine Vision. His state of affairs was
just like the thread used in weaving the cloth, incessantly.
Whenever asked, he would speak
to, “It is ‘Thou’ only (Too hi Too hai). Except these words, nothing else he
uttered. Seldom had he spoken, “I have come to repose at ‘Your Lotus Feet’.”
Being given to understand, he was
unable to pronounce any thing, because he was feeling his conscious presence in
the Eternal Abode of the Indestructible God –‘Akshhar’.
In the morning, when Shri ji used
to go at the bank of a nearby river for brushing his teeth, the Brahmin also
used to be present there. Daily he used to walk along the opposite bank of the
river. While walking he was beholding at the face of Shri ji from that side of
the river. One day he entered into the water of the river and walked upto the
mid-stream.
He was well dressed but fell down
in the water: still he did not care for his body. He had turban on his head,
which flowed away from him.
The associates of Shri ji saw him
drowning. They rushed to the spot and saved him. They brought him out of the
water. They then got his clothes dried and dressed him again: still he was unaware
of this condition.
When asked as to when he dined
last, he replied that he did not remember any thing, but his neighbors replied
that he did not take his meal for past three days
Then Shri ji, by His Soul’s
Power, diverted his mind to the worldly affairs. He did not want to go to his
home, then Shri ji called his brothers and asked them to take care of him.
His brothers took him with them
and brought him to the home by means of a palanquin. He enjoyed with the
Sundersath as long as he had relations with the Super Eternal Abode.
The Brahmin’s name was Sukhdeo
and he belonged to Udaipur .
He dedicated at the Lotus Feet of Shri ji and enjoyed according to his Soul’s
capacity.
From Akot, Shri ji arrived at
Kapastani with all his associates. There He started His preaching in respect of
Divine Wisdom. The Sundersath who accompanied Him were attending very
attentively.
There, two persons named Dagda
and Dutta became disciples. After a few days’ attendances and adhering to the
preaching, Amra ji, too, got enlightened and joined the association.
Amra ji brought with him the
other members of his family, but only Amra ji could achieve faith in Nijanand Sampradaay.
After His stay at Kapastani for
five – ten days, Shri ji left for Elachpur. At Elachpur, a fellow named Parsaji
welcomed Shri ji and served Him as well as other Sundersath, too.
Parsaji requested Shri ji, “If
you and your associates stay here for a long, I shall please you all with my
earnest services as more than enough grain is produced in my farms and I can
manage well for serving foods to all.”
Parsaji performed his services to
arrange feasts for all Sundersath for three-four days. From Elachpur Shri ji
proceeded for other destinations and walked for a few days having His halts at
various places.
In the way, one from the group of
hermits met Shri ji. He pleased Shri ji with his devotional songs and also got
very much impressed with the discourses of Shri ji, but he could not understand
the inherent inference of the preaching of Shri ji.
Thereafter, Shri ji arrived at
Devgarh and stayed there for four days. The ruler of Ram Tekri, a nearby State
attended, but did not pay due attention to Shri ji’s Divine Discourses; hence He
did not stay there any more.
Therefrom Shri ji arrived at Ram
Nagar (now known as Jabalpur
in Madhya Pradesh); but before He reached here, He had to travel for many days
and made His halts at different places. All Sundersath were Brahmashristies,
hence they enjoyed in the company. Swami Shri Laldas ji expressed, “Their
experience of joy has no parallel.” Shri Laldas ji defined it to be a new and
fresh event.
A high bred horse was there, on
which Shri ji used to ride in His journey while others followed accompanying
Him as pedestrians. The whole company had worn a look of an army, led by a
King. Shri ji was leading the company.
Each member of the company of
Sundersath dressed like Sanyasi (hermit). In the way, they collected foods by
begging and presented to Shri ji, who distributed that amongst all.
Shri ji and His associates looked
like Sanyasi as they dressed well in that fashion. The Brahmashristies
accompanying Shri ji knew the importance of that type of appearance; hence they
adopted the same happily, which could not be appreciated by the other people,
because of their poor state of comprehension.
On reaching Ram Nagar, Shri ji
intended to halt in a nearby village belonging to the primitive (Gaud) caste of
people, but they were savage, not able to recognize the ‘Personality’ of Shri
ji and the associates; hence under the influence of Kaliyug they created
nuisance. Shri ji did not stay there and moved further.
Near Ram Nagar, Shri ji along
with the associates stayed at the bank of River Ketiki. A stable type of
accommodation was built at the bank of the river, in front of the house of
Ganesh, a monk.
Shri ji started to deliver the
discourses there. First of all, Chhetai Bhai and the members of his family adhered
to the Divine Message of Shri ji and they joined the association of Sundersath.
Then Sukai Bhai and Chudaman Bhai
also followed him.
Also Kunja Bhai, Veerji Bhai,
Ramratan Bhai, Ganga , Santa Beti and Kaushalya
Jatmal joined the association of Sundersath.
Then Surat Singh dedicated by
self-realization to perform the service physically, mentally and by wealth,
too. Devkinandan adhered to the preaching of Shri ji attentively and joined the
association of Sundersath.
From a village named Echdey,
Jagannath Jatmal & Makrand das along with all the members of the latter’s
family became disciples and joined the association.
Gokul das, Jatmal and the members
of his family with Sunder das also joined the association with full faith.
Jayanti das Jatmal first joined
the association alone duly enlightened. He called all members of his family.
Then Hari Ram Bhai as well as
Ladeti Bai joined the association. Chandra Bai, too, first achieved faith in
Shri ji, hence called other members of her family.
Sunder das, a fellow, who was the
follower of the Religion of Guru Nanak as well as Nania Bai & Leelabai
attended the discourses. They accepted the discipleship of Shri ji.
Mushey Khan Pathan came up from
Burhanpur. He, too, got faith in Shri ji’s Divine Message; but he returned to
his home and stayed there with his family members
Racho, a carpenter and Jayanti
Kaka could know not more but a little about Sri Ji. They used to attend the
discourses with the intention to have ‘Darshan’ of Shri ji. They had respects
towards Shri ji by their hearts.
Murlidhar heard about Shri ji
while coming to Ramnagar in the way. He attended the discourses and got
enlightened by Shri ji’s preaching and also experienced his conscious presence
in Paramdham.
Kanhji Bhai belonged to Aahed: he
went to Echdey. Gokul das and Makrand das listened to the Divine Wisdom and
joined the association duly awakened.
Kaushalya, Dema Bai, Mathuri Bai,
Sri Ram, Raja Ram and Bhago Bai joined the association.
Raju Bhai, Bhandarin and Rai
Kumar listened to the Divine discourses and learnt about the Soul’s Eternal
Abode and the description about the creation of the illusionary world. By their
knowledge, they differentiated between the Paramdham and the dreamy world.
Besides, Himoti Bai, Khema Bhai,
Asha Bai, Shambhoo Bhai, Manna Bhai and Ram Kunwar Bai also attended to listen
to the Divine discourses of Shri ji.
Jeevan das, Naval das, Kalyan
Bhai, Maha Singh Chaudhary and Daulat Khan Pathan also got enlightened on
listening to Shri ji.
Pooran Nai, Asha Ram, Asha Lalloo
and Parash Ram also attended to listen to Shri ji.
Seikh Khidar, Abdul Redman,
Bhikari das along with all the members of his family got enlightened and they joined
the association.
Raghunath Bhai and all his family
members also got awakened. These new entrants joined the association during the
period of Shri ji’s stay at Ramnagar and they enjoyed by their souls according
as they had relation with Paramdham.
Vrindavan Bhai came over from
Burhanpur. He joined the association of Sundersath. Narayan das and other
fellows of Barad also arrived there and got awakened. They joined the
association of Sundersath.
Lachchhidas, Khemkaran, Kannad
Bhai, Hari Krishna, Sukhdeo as well as Girdhar renounced the worldly affairs
and joined the association of Sundersath duly enlightened.
Jagroop Bhai with his mother
Khargo Bai attended the discourses and listened to the description of
'‘Personal Appearance and Glory of Shri Raj ji (the Lord). They were greatly
influenced with that and got faith in Shri ji to accept the discipleship.
Ganga Ram & Seikhbadal
arrived at Ramnagar & listened to the Divine Discourses. They got awakened.
Patram Modi, Keshav das, Vallabha
das as well as Mania Bai also got awakened and joined the association.
Girdhar Bhai, Vasant Bhai, Hasan
Bhai, Dayal Bhai, Bihari Farash and Bihari Roshan also joined the association
of Sundersath.
Girdhar Darjee, Surajmal, Govind
Rai, Lalmani and Nirmal das, too, accepted the discipleship.
Deoram Pahadi also joined the
association. Khemkaran’s mother had arrived at Ramnagar for her personal work
of Jatmal, but she attended the discourses and got enlightened.
Rewadas (Bhagwan Das) along with
Damodar Bhai arrived at Ramnagar from Siddhapur (Gujarat )
to listen to the Divine Message of Shri ji: they got awakened and joined the
association of Sundersath.
Shri ji had worn the look of
Sanyasi. On looking at Him, Uday Tiwari made in his mind to pay respect to Shri
ji. He invited Shri ji at his residence and managed a decent meal for Him.
Chand Khan also arrived & tried
his best to be convinced by Shri ji’s preaching. He stayed at Ramnagar.
Swami Shri Laldas ji concluded
the chapter and said, “O Sundersath ji! The history of Ramnagar has been told.
Still more is there to be described, which according to the Divine Order, will
be narrated now.
Prakaran – 57 Chopai – 3157
CHAPTER 58 – RAMNAGAR KEE BEETAK
Swami Shri Laldas ji proceeded
further in this chapter to state that Surat Singh informed Sujan Shah in
respect of his attendance to listen to the preaching of Shri ji. Along with
Sujan Shah, Hari Singh also accompanied him to listen to Divine Discourses of
Shri ji.
Hari Singh’s pleasure knew no
bounds, when he listened to the Divine Message of Shri ji. He returned to his
home and decided to invite Shri ji and the associates to have a dinner at his
residence. He approached to Shri ji and said –
“Kindly oblige me and accept my
invitation to arrive at my residence with all the Sundersath on a feast &
let me please you with my earnest services.” Shri ji then accepted his request
& said – “We all shall go to your residence. Prepare the foods.” Shri ji
had talked with Hari Singh for a while. Hari Singh talked in his interest with
Shri ji.
The next day, Hari Singh requested
Shri ji to reach his residence. Shri ji arrived there and had His seat on a
cushioned bed while Sundersath were welcomed in a hall.
Hari Singh then arranged sitting
arrangement by providing wooden seats to each member: he put on a long piece of
cloth (Dhoti) in order to serve foods to the guests, himself.
He seated Shri ji on a high
pulpit while Sundersath sat in two rows either side. He started serving the
foods.
The dishes (manually prepared
with the large-size leaves) were placed before each by his attendants, while he
was oscillating punkha to make air-current around Shri ji to please Him. The various
kinds of the items of foods were served too.
Hari Singh managed to disperse
many kinds of sweets and other edibles including different kinds of pickles. He
did not recognize Shri ji’s Divinity but honoured Him on knowing that Shri ji
appeared to be a respected Sanyasi by looking at Him.
Mahamati Shri Prannath ji and all
Sundersath finished their meal very well. Then Hari Singh presented folded
betel-leaf keeping therein catechu on lime, chopped betel nuts, clove etc.
according to a fashion, which are usually taken after meal.
Hari Singh managed to provide
cushion for taking rest on the next floor of his house, where Shri ji reposed.
He talked respectfully and said –
“I am just like your servant to
please you with my service. You have obliged me by accepting my request and
have come at my residence and dined with the associates to purify the place to
make it pious. Kindly take trouble to convince me so that I may get rid of the
riddles of ‘Maya’ since I have become disheartened.”
Shri ji granted a boon of Grace
and pleased him saying, “All your ambitions would be fulfilled by the ‘Lord’.
Swami Shri Laldas ji said, “The self-realization comes when one has relation
with ‘Super Eternal Abode’: without any relation with Paramdham, the awakening
of the real soul is impossible.”
Hari Singh enjoyed and filled his
heart with the Grace of the ‘Lord’ according as he deserved. He then left for
court in connection with his personal work, but he had to suffer physically and
mentally. (Shri ji helps one to get awakened by one’s soul and enjoy the Grace
of the ‘Lord’: He does not help to enjoy the fruits of worldly attempts to gain
the material wealth.)
Kunwar Kishori Singh also heard
about the arrival of Shri ji at Ramnagar. He also started to attend the
discourses of Shri ji, whom he knew to be an honourable saint; but by Shri ji’s
Divine discourses he accepted to become disciple and thus he joined the
association of Sundersath duly attained the state of hearty satisfaction.
In the palace of Kunwar Kishori
Singh, there were other members of his family, who attended the discourses of
Shri ji, but due to attachment with the worldly affairs & in order to
safeguard the self respect in the illusive world, they did not gain faith in
the Divine Message of Shri ji, nor did they recognize Shri ji as the ‘Lord’.
Kunwar Kishori Singh decided to
invite Shri ji at his home. He sent for a messenger to bid his humble request
to invite Shri ji on a dinner at his residence in order to oblige him so that
he might please Shri ji with the performance of his hearty services.
Then he was present there to have
a ‘Darshan’ of Shri ji. He sat there to adhere to the Divine discourses. He was
very glad by his heart to listen to Shri ji. He developed faith in Shri ji,
too.
Not immediately, but after
attending to the discourses for a few days, he brought with him at his
residence Shri ji and the associates to celebrate the feast festival. He
expressed - that day was festive.
The various kinds of foods were
prepared for the feast. He managed well to seat Shri ji respectfully and the
associates around Him.
He served Shri ji and all
Sundersath with all kinds of foods including sweets & dry fruits, as per his
choice.
He performed the best of his
services to please Shri ji and enjoyed in the company of Sundersath according
as he was related with Paramdham as well as the other Divine Souls.
A maid (female servant) of Kunwar
Kishori Singh used to attend the Divine discourses of Shri ji, who recognized
Shri ji as the ‘Lord’. Having ‘Darshan’ of Shri ji, she could realise self a
little.
She continued to attend the
discourses and to have ‘Darshan’ daily and she also presented something to Shri
ji what she used to bring with her. She developed faith and had experienced the
hearty relation with Paramdham.
Asha Ram, a Kabeer Panthi fellow
used to adhere to the Divine discourses of Shri ji very attentively daily.
Asha Ram also arranged for the
feast festival and invited Shri ji as well as the associates. He was delighted
to perform the sacred services. He prayed, “I intend to live here at your Lotus
Feet; kindly oblige me to grant permission as a boon of Grace.”
Suddenly an epidemic named
‘Epilepsy’ broke down in the City resulting in death of many citizens including
some of Sundersath.
In Ramnagar due to epidemic many
Sundersath passed away; their names who dedicated for the sake of Nijanand Sampradaay,
by health, wealth and wisdom, were as enumerated below: -
Ishwardas of Udaipur had
accompanied Shri ji with his family members and had also struggled to get rid
of ‘Maya’. He, at Ramnagar, suffered from Epilepsy and expired.
His youngest son, Toonga also
followed him because of the disease.
After the death of Gobardhan Bhai,
his wife Rukma, who had been accompanying Shri ji, also expired.
Kanhji and Ram ji of Surat , who accompanied
Shri ji also expired and reached Paramdham. His son, Chhabila, too suffered
from the epidemic, but escaped and recovered.
Shyamal das, who was famous as
Chintamani (by name), accompanied Shri ji from Thattanagar reached Paramdham by
his Divine Soul.
Nirmal das of Surat
was in the company of Sundersath from Surat .
He had renounced the world (Maya), but expired at Ramnagar.
From Patan, Damodar joined the
association of Sundersath. He also expired at Ramnagar and reached Paramdham by
his Divine Soul. He had full faith in Nijanand Sampradaay.
A Fakir (hermit) lived for some
days with Shri ji. Due to epidemic, he expired. His soul reached the place to
which it belonged.
Maluk Chand, a Rajput –Rathore
also expired: Everybody lives in the world in accordance with the Divine Order
of the Lord Supreme (Shri Raj ji).
Hamo Bai, the wife of Guljee left
the worldly affairs and expired due to epidemic.
From Burhanpur Mathuri Bai
arrived upto Ramnagar with Shri ji and the associates alone, leaving the family
and relatives at Burhanpur. Her Divine Soul reached near Almighty as she
expired at Ramnagar.
A son of a poor saint also came
up along with the company of Sundersath from Burhanpur. He enjoyed with the company
of Shri ji as long as he deserved, then suffered from disease and expired at
Ramnagar.
Ladkunwari, the wife of Banarsi
Bhai (one of the twelve Divine Persons, who met the Emperor- Aurangzeb at Delhi ) also left Delhi
and came up to Ramnagar with the Sundersath. She also left the world and
departed to find shelter in the ‘Super Eternal Abode’ near Shri Raj ji.
Man Bai, the mother of Nandram
performed her services to please Shri Raj ji (Shri ji). She also expired after
enjoying in the company of the Sundersath.
Lal Bai’s daughter, Shyam Bai
suffered from the disease and left for the Eternal Abode at Garha (the next
halt place of Shri ji. She also enjoyed by Shri ji’s Grace, as she deserved.
Goma Bai, the mother of Khemdas
also left the physical body in the way while proceeding from Ramnagar. She also
lived with the company according to the Grace of Shri Raj ji (the Lord), and
then her Soul reached the place to which it belonged.
Similarly, Sadanand and Trilokdas
accompanied Sundersath from Udaipur
and expired at Ramnagar.
The Kaliyug thus interfered and
snatched some of the Sundersath of Shri ji; the event was so serious that on
returning from funeral ground, Sundersath had to arrange for another deceased.
The epidemic troubled Sundersath
for some days, then it came to an end as per the Divine Order of Supreme Lord;
but Sundersath were mourning at the event which they faced sorrowfully, hence
they considered the life to be transitory.
By that time, Aurangzeb asked his
commander named Purdal Khan to find out the whereabouts and the antecedents of
Saint-like Personality, who stayed at Ramnagar.
Purdal Khan then deputed his
assistant, Seikh Khidar to enquire, “Who is He? Where has He come from? And
what is His aim?”
Seikh Khidar, the Emperor’s
representative contacted the Ruler of Ramnagar from Garha and warned him to
find out the Personality, who looked like a Saint and had been staying at
Ramnagar.
He warned the Ruler, “I am
deputed to arrest the Sanyasi –Capture them and hand them over to me at the
earliest, otherwise the Emperor ordered me to attack over your estate.”
Seikh Khidar continued, “I have
warned you to comply with the order of the Emperor, for which I have contacted
you. If you commit any negligence in the compliance, you shall be held
responsible and would be accused as a defaulter.”
When the Ruler heard Seikh
Khidar, he asked his City Police Officer to convey his message to ‘Swami
Krishna Das’ (Shri ji was also known as Swami Krishna Das) with his request –
“For a few days kindly leave
Ramnagar for any other place and come back again when the crisis is over.
“But the pressure of the
Emperor’s commander is beyond my capacity to bear. I am unable to face even his
stroke of a stick: I shall have to comply with him.”
Shri ji Sahib replied to the City
Police Officer very politely, “We have no fear of the Emperor: let him come to
see me early or arrange to arrest us all.”
Shri ji continued and spoke to
the City Police Officer, “Please tell the King that we have been waiting for
the Emperor’s call – let him do so. Also inform the King to rest assured and
not to bother for us.”
The City Police Officer requested
the King, “I have been told by the Personality that they have no fear of the
Emperor.
“Let the Emperor’s army men or
any body of them arrive here, they say that they shall manage themselves and
would not ask for nay help.”
Then the King of Ramnagar again
sent the City Police Officer to see Shri ji with his request, “I have to convey
my request again to kindly go to some safe place for a couple of days:
“I say frankly that I shall not
be able to provide the necessary protection to save you all, although it is my
duty. In case you are blamed on false allegations and arrested, I shall be
ashamed to face you.
“Better, you hide yourself and
your company at a distance of some ten to twenty kosh (one kosh is equal to two
miles- a little more than one kilometer) with proper safety. When the situation
changes and becomes favourable, after a couple of days I shall invite you again
and then you may arrive here.”
Again the City Police Officer
repeated the request of the King to Shri ji that the King had to prevent the
attack of the Emperor, which shall be possible when He would comply with,
otherwise, the King should hand over them all to the Emperor’s army men.
Shri ji replied again firmly, “Do
not bother. Let them come before me. I shall convince them and Aurangzeb, too.
“They would not overcome us. Let
them listen to me. I shall fill up their hearts with the Divine Discourses and
then they will feel ashamed and beg excuse. They will become humble to bow.
“Tell to the King, he should not
breed any sort of fear for our welfare. I am sure, the Lord Supreme shall pour
the showers of the Grace over us –the Divine Souls. I shall also preach them as
per the Divine Order of the ‘Lord’. The Emperor or his subordinate army men
would have no courage to harm us.”
The City Police Officer again
reached the Ruler and told him what was spoken by Shri ji. The Ruler got
astonished to learn that Shri ji has no fear or any sorts of doubts to fear.
The King directed Subansrai to
tell Shri ji, “Why do you not get afraid of the Emperor? If the army-officers
arrest you what shall I do? How shall I give reply to the public?
“If the army-officers arrest you
and present you before the Emperor, I shall be ashamed for being blamed. The
people would name me, which I would have to hear.”
Subansrai, the messenger of the
King came over and met Shri ji to convey the message. He told that all what was
spoken by the King to inform Mahamati Shri Prannath ji.
Then Shri ji spoke to Subansrai,
showing him His Soul’s power, “Your King and you, too need not fear. I shall
talk with the officers of Aurangzeb; they can’t harm us a bit.”
Subansrai returned to inform the
King. He spoke, “I gave Shri ji to understand the situation and explained Him
about the fear of the Emperor. I did not threaten but explained well.
“As necessary, I have expressed
well. Now, Shri ji shall face the situation by self at the appropriate time.”
Thus the next day, Seikh Khidar,
an army-officer arrived there, under the direction of Purdal Khan and met the
King. He told the King about his plan, which he decided to do first.
He asked the King to arrest and
hand over the Sanyasi and His associates to him: he had to present them before
the Emperor as per the order he received.
Seikh Khidar clarified further,
“In case you would provide protection and save them, you shall be attacked by
the Emperor’s army. Either, therefore, arrest and hand over them to me or get
prepared to fight us.”
The King replied, “I shall not
interfere in the matter. You may yourself arrest and reach your destination
with them, as you may like.”
The King continued, “You have
arrived here with the message of the Emperor: I pay due respect to you and
salute to the Emperor. I have no objection. You may arrest the Sanyasi and go back
along with them.”
Seikh Khidar left the Royal Palace
of the King and came back to the place of his halt. He then conversed with
Bhikaridas, the Diwan of the King to find out as to what he should do to arrest
the Sanyasi.
Seikh Khidar asked Bhikaridas,
the Diwan, “Now what have we to do? How to seize them?” Bhikaridas then begged
permission of Seikh Khidar to let him go first to see Shri ji.
He spoke, “Let me contact Sanyasi
and learn about their motive: on hearing and becoming well acquainted with
them, their seizure would then be easier.” Bhikaridas was permitted.
Bhikaridas then reached at the
Lotus Feet of Shri ji –the Hadi and prostrated. Then he expressed to Shri ji,
“I have to convey the message of the Emperor to you.
“What is your decision? The
Emperor –Aurangzeb has sent his message to the King of Ramnagar; accordingly I
am bound to arrest you and present before the Emperor.”
Then Shri Raj (Shri ji) spoke,
“We think it proper that Aurangzeb remembers me and some body should manage to
let me meet the Emperor.
“Please make proper investigation
in respect of me and know the ‘Reality’. Also adhere to my discourses and learn
the same.”
Then Mahamati Shri Prannath ji
explained him well about the reasons of the creation of the world. Shri ji also
revealed the secrets of Shrimad Bhagwat and Quran. Bhikaridas adhered to Shri
ji well.
Shri ji asked Bhikaridas to
furnish proper replies to the questions as per his good understanding
otherwise, listen to Him as also the proper replies to the questions of Shrimad
Bhagwat.
Bhikaridas then spoke, “Kindly
make me understand what you preach me. I have acquired faith in you. I
prostrate before your Lotus Feet and shall repose here only.”
Continuously for three days and
three nights, Shri ji gave him to understand the Divine Knowledge as well as
the explanation with replies to the queries of Holy Bhagwat and Quran.
Shri ji explained him about the
importance of ‘One’ –and only one Religion of Mankind by eliminating the
differences of various religions. All sorts of doubts of Bhikaridas were also
crushed by the Divine Wisdom. Then Bhikaridas developed full faith in Shri ji.
.
Bhikaridas returned to Seikh
Khidar and intimated him of the light of the Divine Knowledge, he gained from
Shri ji. He told Seikh Khidar, “I recognized Shri Prannath ji. He is Sadguru-
the Grand Preceptor of the time, who deserves due honour of the mankind.” Seikh
Khidar asked – “How did you say like this? How could you recognize Him as the
Grand Preceptor –worthy of Honour of the Mankind? Please clear me all that what
you learnt. Also tell me, why do you say that Shri ji is a Grand Personality
–‘Imam Menhdi’? What did you see in Him and how can it be proved?”
Bhikaridas then quoted the
queries related with Quran and Shrimad Bhagwat. He then answered all the
queries. Bhikaridas delivered the Divine Knowledge to Seikh Khidar and removed
all sorts of doubts to make him well acquainted with the ‘Reality.’
As explained to him by Shri ji,
Bhikaridas detailed the explanations of the seven facts related with Qayamat,
as indicated in Quran. He also explained about the ‘Devil’ named ‘Dabhtul-Arz’
the false pride of egotism in mankind. He also explained the interference of
Kaliyug- the devil-minded persons.
Bhikaridas explained the meaning
of ‘Azooz –Mazooz’ –the Day and the Night, by which the life span shortens and
the physical body perishes. Issah- Rooh-Allah- Shri Devchandra ji appeared with
the ‘Divine Wisdom’ and thus ‘Asrafeel’ –Angel (Farishta) in the guise of Shri
Devchandra ji has blown up the bugle emitting ‘Divine Wisdom’ to awake the
Divine Souls by ‘Jaagni’, which is the real meaning of Qayamat. He further
added –
“The Sun without light means the
knowledge of ‘Shariyat’ related with the physical activities, having no concern
of the Soul with the ‘Lord’. The Sun rose up in the Western Horizon. After all,
‘Imam Menhdi’ appeared to be known by all. All these appropriate meanings given
by Shri ji were explained by Bhikaridas to convince Seikh Khidar in respect of
the Divine Personality – ‘Mahamati Shri Prannath ji.’
Bhikaridas further explained that
Mahamati Shri Prannath ji pleaded for ‘One common Religion’ of mankind by
eliminating the varieties. Shri ji explained to him the ‘Divine Wisdom’: that is
the intense ‘love’ of the Soul for the ‘Lord’ only, in the same manner in which
a loyal (trustful) wife serves, loves and pleases her husband. One may develop
the real religion of mankind and then gradually develop ‘love’ with the Supreme
Lord.
When Seikh Khidar learnt from
Bhikaridas the ‘Reality’ (Haqiqat) and about the Personality of the Supreme
Lord (Marfat), he concentrated within himself and tried to come to conclusion.
Syed Abdul Rehman and Raghunath
were also present there with Bhikaridas. They witnessed and confirmed what
Bhikaridas told to Seikh Khidar. Then all sorts of doubts i.e. the
devil-mindedness of Seikh Khidar disappeared automatically.
Bhikaridas emphasized, “Kindly
come along with me to have a ‘Darshan’ of the Grand Personality. You shall find
the ‘Reality’ there and reach at the Lotus Feet of Supreme Lord.”
Seikh Khidar got up at once. He
ordered to prepare the means of conveyance to reach there and have ‘Darshan’ of
Shri ji. He also informed Shri ji about his attendance to have ‘Darshan’.
Seikh Khidar reached to see Shri
ji with his attendants and many others. He prostrated at the Lotus Feet of Shri
ji. He found repose in the company of Shri ji. Seikh Khidar hailed from one and
the very Abode (Paramdham) as experienced by Seikh Khidar in his heart.
Seikh Khidar discussed with Shri
ji in respect of the ‘Ultimate Day of Justice –Qayamat’. He also listened to
the Sanandh-chapters. He beheld the Glory of the Almighty’s Grace at the
splendid face of Shri ji, very apparently. Under the influence of Kaliyug, the
devil-minded Muslim of Bedre created the nuisance, in order to gain favour of
Seikh Khidar.
The Muslim people of Bedre, who
were devil-minded, mistook that Seikh Khidar arrived to arrest Shri ji and
others. They thought it proper to help Seikh Khidar (Muslim) to show their
intense interest in Islam.
Rehmat Khan, the Chief of the
Muslim group (who were the devil-minded to create nuisance) saw that the Holy
Book Quran was also being read by Shri ji and His associates. He spoke to Shri
ji, “A Hindu is not entitled to read Quran: Why do you read it?” Also he
enquired of Shri ji as to why the name of Mohammed Paigambar is being
pronounced by them –the Hindus?
But Seikh Khidar then angered and
spoke, “Get these persons away by force from this place: these are as good as
the corpses to be condemned. These persons must be pushed out by strokes. They
have been creating nuisance while we are treading the right path related with
the ‘Reality’. They must be insulted.”
All those who were present there
blamed Rehmat Khan and pushed him out. He, the devil-minded entity fled away
duly ashamed.
Seikh Khidar and all his company
got faith to follow the Nijanand Sampradaay – the Religion of Mankind. He recognized
Shri ji as ‘Advent of Imam Menhdi’, paid due respects to Shri ji and came back
to his camp.
Next day, Seikh Khidar met the
King of Ramnagar and said, “O King! You are worthy of censure as you failed to
see Mahamati Shri Prannath ji, who is charged by the Almighty. You have missed
the opportunity to recognize such a Grand Personality, who has capacity to
pioneer all the warriors of the world.
“You did not go there even for
His ‘Darshan’. What should I say to you? You could not recognize Him, who has
been here?”
The Raja (Ruler of Ramnagar said,
“A few days ago you came here to arrest the Sanyasi. Well done, you have
changed yourself and got compassionate. Now you adore Shri ji.”
Seikh Khidar replied, “I had no
idea about Shri ji. I was ordered by the Emperor to arrest Him. I then complied
with the Emperor and came for that purpose.”
He continued, “When I beheld Sadguru,
Shri Mehraj Thakur (Shri ji), I got satisfied that He is Almighty in the person
of Shri ji. He cleared all of my doubts and I recognized Him to be ‘Advent of
Imam Menhdi’.
“Now I have accepted to be His
slave and I shall always obey Him. I shall convey to the Emperor His Divine Message
in respect of His appearance as ‘Imam Menhdi.”
Still, the attendants and the
friends misguided the King. They said, “These Sanyasi have power of sorcery and
they enchants one who goes to prostrate before the Sadguru.
These associates of Shri ji play
a trick by sprinkling some powder type material over the head of the entrant
and that fellow becomes theirs. O King! You must be very cautious if you go
there.”
The King spoke, “I shall go there
but have ‘Darshan’ of Shri ji from a distant place. I shall not go nearer; but
I shall have to go for the sake of Seikh Khidar.
Next day, the King arranged a
feast and invited Shri ji and the associates. He had ‘Darshan’ of Shri ji and Sundersath
from a garden located nearby.
The King of Ramnagar approached
Shri ji but did not sit; he remained standing, because of the fear, lest Shri
ji might make him His obedient or a slave.
His Soul was not related with
Paramdham; hence the king did not adhere to the preaching. He did not know
about the Divine Personality. He came back from there.
Seikh Khidar then requested Shri
ji, “Kindly instruct me; accordingly I shall send a message to the Emperor in
respect of your honour.”
Shri ji replied, “What should I
say to you to write. You may write according to your own intellect what you
have seen or realised here and got convinced in respect of me.
“What you can write, please do so
and send the same to Purdal Khan. He shall then arrange to forward the same to
the Emperor. The Emperor, on going through the message written by you shall
recognize me if he were related with Paramdham."
Seikh Khidar spent some days with
the associates of Shri ji and kept him busy in the services of Shri ji to
please Him. His attendants, who became disciples of Shri ji stayed there. Seikh
Khidar wrote his investigation report in respect of Shri ji as he became
acquainted. Then he returned.
Bhikaridas came again at the
Lotus Feet of Shri ji after bidding farewell to Seikh Khidar. Bhikaridas came
up along with all the members of his family and all of them joined the
association of Sundersath. Bhikaridas handed over all the members of his family
to prostrate at the Lotus Feet of Shri ji who indoctrinated them all.
Gulam Mohammed again came from
Dhamoni and represented the Emperor. He was anxiously covetous hence heard the
Divine Discourses of Shri ji very attentively.
Gulam Mohammed belonged to the
caste of Purdal Khan, who was his relative too. He asked the King on behalf of
Purdal Khan if he could arrest and hand over the Sanyasi to him.
The King knew that the Emperor
Aurangzeb had some wrong image in respect of the Sanyasi; hence he got afraid
of the Emperor on account of the long halt at Ramnagar of Shri ji and His
associates, because his attendants censured by framing allegations against Shri
ji and the Sundersath due to misunderstanding.
The King directed one of his
special messengers to ask Shri ji and associates to leave as early as possible,
Ramnagar for some other place, as he was unable to tolerate the consequences of
the Emperor’s wrath.
Shri ji found that the King of
Ramnagar was badly afraid of the Emperor and his eyes were fearful but telling
about some mischief to be played as per the latter’s plan. As such, Shri ji
left Ramnagar, as that place became not worthy of staying any more but like a
poisonous fruit (not edible).
On the tenth day of the bright
fortnight of the lunar month of Agrahan (Margshish) of Vikram Samvat 1739 (in
1682 A D), Shri ji left Ramnagar for Garha, a nearby village. After a four-day
journey, He with the Sundersath arrived at Garha, the fourteenth day of the
bright fortnight of the same lunar month.
On his arrival at Garha, a
representative officer of the Emperor came up there. He left his five horsemen
there and went to Ramnagar alone. The five horsemen of the army met Shri ji.
These five persons prevented Shri
ji and Sundersath from proceeding further. They had to stay in a garden nearby
the village. The Sundersath had a hot talk with the horsemen for twelve hours
(equal to four quarters of the day), and then Diwan Devkaran Bhai arrived there
from Ramnagar.
Shri ji delivered his Divine
Discourses and recited the chapters of Sanandh (which were disclosed to him by
Shri Raj ji during his stay at Anoopsahar, some three years back). The army
persons adhered to His Divine preaching and got ashamed at their activities. They
left Garha the next day before dawn. They concluded that their meeting with
Shri ji had resulted in making their hearts pious and the Grace of the Almighty
benefits them. They bowed to Shri ji.
The army persons also regretted
for their misbehaviour and said themselves, “Shri ji possesses Divinity of the
Lord (Khuda’s Power); He could have cursed us all for our misbehaviour and we
could not have found shelter anywhere in ‘Paradise ’,
but could reach the hell to suffer a lot.”
Shri ji, on the departure of the
army men, left the garden and reached Garha village, where Hakim, son of
Bhagwant Rai was residing.
He was a mischievous fellow, who
expressed his views to other fellows, “Let us loot these Fakir –Sanyasi.”
There was Ganga Ram Bajpai, who
heard them. He had already attended the assembly of the Sundersath twice and
had ‘Darshan’ of Shri ji. He felt the relation of his Soul with Shri ji and
Sundersath.
He warned the mischief mongers
and said, “Why do you intend to do such an evil act of looting the Divine
Persons? You shall be blamed by the bad names: Have you thought so?
“And it is not easy to commit
loot. The Divine Persons would either prefer to die or kill you when you loot.
Why do you utter such nonsense words to commit sin? Do not repeat such words by
mistakes even.”
The curse of the Divine Persons
resulted in making Garha village ruined. The process of deterioration of the
village commenced to continue upto the Day of Qayamat.
Swami Shri Laldas ji, while
closing the chapter said, “This is the history of Garha but some events are
still to be told: and the same have been described in next chapter, as per the
mercy of the Lord Supreme.”
Prakaran 58 – Chopai - 3300
CHAPTER 59 –GARHA KAA VRATANT.
Swami Shri Laldas ji said that
while describing about Garha, some events of Ramnagar have crept in to be
described, which are mentioned here for the knowledge of Sundersath who should
listen to attentively.
At Ramnagar, Surat Singh acquired
faith in his heart after paying holy visit to Shri ji. He recognized Shri ji as
his ‘Soul’s Lord’. He had no doubts in his mind.
He adhered to the Divine Wisdom –Tartam.
He saw the ‘Lord Supreme’ in person in the guise of Shri ji (Mahamati Shri
Prannath ji).
He thought in his mind, whom
should he tell about that and who would believe in his words.
He reached to Diwan Devkaran at
Ramnagar and told him, “I have heard about one thing, which I intend to
disclose to you. I have beheld the Almighty- Supreme Lord and the Divine Souls
with my own eyes.
“You, accompany me, I shall help
you to have ‘Darshan’. The Grand Personality and His associates have been
staying at the bank of River Ketki; Come along and see that the Grand
Personality is ‘Supreme Lord.”
Surat Singh brought Diwan
Devkaran to meet with Shri ji. Diwan Devkaran saw Shri ji and he atonce
prostrated at Hs Lotus Feet. All his doubts vanished and he showed his
readiness to obey Shri ji in all respects, happily from that very moment.
Diwan Devkaran listened to the
divine preaching of Shri ji for a while and made him free of all ‘ifs and
buts’. He thought to give information about Shri ji to Maharaja Shri
Chhatrashal, who would pay attention to adhere to the divine preaching and
develop faith in his mind.
Swami Shri Laldas ji hereafter
described the names of those Sundersath who were assigned different types of
services, which were necessary in order to look after the interest of the group
of Sundersath who were accompanying Shri ji at Ramnagar. Patiram was entrusted
with the work of management of grains &other commodities to be stored and
distributed.
Keshavdas as well as Jati Bhai
were assigned to work as assistants of Patiram. Jayanti Bhai was serving
drinking water to Sundersath.
Gokul das was made responsible
for purchases of different commodities from the market, whereas the work of
kitchen including cooking was given to Garibdas (Nagji Bhai).
Khemdas, Ganga Ram, Santdas,
Gobardhan Bhai and lastly Surajmal were preparing the foods for all.
Besides, Vrindavan was
supervising their working. The Sundersath of Barad had been arranging fuel wood
from the nearby forest.
Nirmal das Bhai together with
Mukund das ji used to recite the selected extracts of Tartamsagar to please
Shri ji and associates.
The wife of Shri ji (Shri Bai Ju
Raj) whom Gobardhan Bhai, Bua Bai and Hama Bai also joined was singing the
Sanandh-verses.
There were two groups who had
been reciting the selected verses of Tartamsagar turn by turn. Nirmal das used
to please Shri ji by his melodious voice while singing the verses daily.
Shri Laldas ji and Mukund das ji
participated especially in the act of circling the illuminated lamps in front
of Shri ji (performing Aarti) daily in the evening while Uttam das used to play
on a long drum-type musical instrument (Pakhawaj). Nirmal das was the chief of
the whole party.
Banmalidas also participated in
the party at the occasion of ‘Aarti’. He used to plan every day to experiment a
new method to be performed as service to please Shri ji.
Khemai das Bhai belonging to
Bundelkhand used to play on a special musical instrument named ‘Taal’, while
Kannad Bhai used to sing according to the beat of the ‘Taal ’:
Kalyan Bhai used to respond to the requirements of the musical party at the
occasion of ‘Aarti’, daily.
The programme of ‘Aarti’ was
performed daily in the evening, which was attended by all the Sundersath, who
remained standing while ‘Aarti’ was performed. They enjoyed cheerfully.
At Ramnagar, Kaushalya Bai
celebrated festive-feasts and invited Shri ji and the associates at her home
not once but eleven times. She performed the best of her services. Shri
Prannath ji too fulfilled her desires.
Udai Tiwari similarly held the
feasts two times at his home and invited Shri ji who was adored by Gheesa, the
nephew of Udai Tiwari as the latter was convinced to look at the Shri ji’s face
and understood Him to be an honourable saint.
The mother of Ramjani, Bhagwati
Bai also welcomed Shri ji at her home and celebrated the feast-festival as she
had established relation with Shri ji’s Divine Soul.
Makrand Bhai dedicated him with
his health, wealth and wisdom to please Shri ji with the sacred services he
performed. He also arranged to celebrate feast and welcomed Shri ji and
Sundersath. He bowed at the Lotus Feet and stood to obey Shri ji.

belonged to Barad, also held the celebration of feasts and joined the
association of Sundersath.
Devi, the uncle of Jayanti Bhai,
similarly, celebrated the feast at his home and welcomed Shri ji. He too joined
the Sundersath association and served them well.
Also Hiraman, the Carpenter did
the same and welcomed Shri ji and Sundersath. He pleased them with his
services, well.
Mahamati Shri Prannath ji stayed
at seven places during his journey of one month and thirteen days then arrived
at Garha. Here he ordered some of the associates to go to Delhi and convey the Divine Message of the
‘Advent of Imam Menhdi’ to Aurangzeb, the Emperor.
At Garha, an old lady named
Dharma Bai arrived to prostrate at the Lotus Feet of Shri ji and developed
faith in all respects.
Anant Ram as well as Ghanshyam
Bhai along with Harbai and Sadanand Bhai attended the discourses and joined the
association.
Ganga Ram from Ujjain , Vasukeshar, Udaiti Bai, Khimotibai
& Dayali Bai joined Mohan Bhai & Dhanbai:

got faith and recognized Shri ji as their ‘Lord’.
Here Gobardhan Bhai, Mukund

Shri ji. They adhered to the Divine Wisdom –Tartam and got enlightened.
Binda, Bihari, Santdas, Durjan

Feet of Shri ji.
Similarly, Darsha, Dharmola,
Ratan Bai, Kusum Singh, Madhukar, Maya Ram –a physician of Garha, Lal Shah
Bhadoriya all these fellows joined the association of Sundersath.
At the same time, Shri ji ordered
Shri Laldas ji to go to Delhi
and endeavour to make approach to the Emperor with the Divine Message, again.
On the fifth day of the dark
fortnight of the lunar month of Posh, Vikram Samvat 1739 (in December 1682 A
D), Veerju Bhai informed Shri ji that the King of Ramnagar has to demolish the
inn, where He stayed at Garha. Shri ji heard the news. He became unhappy. He
opined that Garha would also get deteriorated in the same way as the inn was to
be demolished and would not develop in future too.
Shri ji asked Devkaran, when the
latter was leaving Garha for Mau (a village near the present Chhatarpur in MP),
“Why did you settle here away from your own home?”
Diwan Devkaran replied, “I got
annoyed on a particular issue, hence left home and arrived to settle here.”
Shri ji told to Devkaran, “You
have settled here for this important job, which is the main reason. Go and
inform ‘Maharaja Chhatrashal’ about me.”
Shri ji continued, “I tested so
many kings of India (Hindustan ), but no one has been found to relate with
Paramdham. ‘Maharaja Chhatrashal’ has been recognized by me as having the
impression of the consciousness of a Divine Soul named ‘Shakundal Bai’ of
Paramdham: I shall have further talk with him.”
Although Shri ji ordered Shri
Laldas ji to proceed to Delhi ,
yet He also asked him to read Quran again. Laldas ji read the Sixteenth Chapter
containing the story of Moesha Paigambar & Haroon, the King.
It is mentioned there that Moesha
Paigambar prayed the Almighty (Allah), “Why should I fight with Faroon unless I
am provided with the facility to feed my needs.
“There lies the difference
–‘Faroon is an Emperor’, while I am a Fakir –a very ordinary man having no
force: But if I am provided with the help of my brother, I shall definitely get
prepared to fight the Emperor along with the company of the pious hearted
persons of my group.”
The Almighty directed Moesha’s
brother Haroon to join the company of Moesha. Thus the Almighty enabled Moesha
to face Faroon Emperor. The Emperor was not then able to do any harm, nor could
he torture any civilian.
Shri Laldas ji showed these Iyets
of Quran to Shri ji and expressed, “As per the reference of Quran, we need a
king having his Soul related to Paramdham to join us.”
Then Shri ji altered the
programme. He asked Charan das and Gareeb Das, instead of Laldas to go to Delhi to have an approach
to see Aurangzeb, while Shri Laldas ji was detained there. In the way, Dharma
Bai happened to meet Shri Laldas ji. She told Shri Laldas ji that Diwan
Devkaran had talked with ‘Maharaja Chhatrashal’ at Mau and informed him of Shri
ji Sahib.
Thus, Shri Laldas ji arrived
there and informed Shri ji that Diwan Devkaran had informed Maharaja
Chhatrashal about them.
Shri ji then asked Santdas and
Dharam Das to proceed and meet Diwan Devkaran and hand over the letter
containing His message.
Therefrom, Shri ji with the
Sundersath arrived at Agariya –a nearby village and sent Shri Laldas ji, Uttam
das, Jeevan das and Govind das to meet Maharaja Chhatrashal, a Divine Soul.
From a village, named Budi-Buda
Kamlavati, Ratan Bai, Raghav das & Reva das these four persons arrived
together to prostrate before the Lotus Feet of Shri ji.
Thereafter another fellow,
Lakhiram met Shri ji at Parna ji (Panna) and got enlightened. He spoke, “I
shall not leave the Lotus Feet since I knew that the world is a dream.”
Ram Das also got awakened and
managed a feast to invite and welcome Shri ji and Sundersath delightedly. He
spoke, “I am yours now: You made me understand that the world is a dream drama
to watch only.”
Satavari, Deepa Bai as well as
the mother of Gokul das belonging to the nearby villages also arrived at the
Lotus Feet of Shri ji to prostrate and join the association. Shri ji then
arrived at Bilhari village and stayed there for eleven days. All Sundersath
began to assemble there.
Swami Shri Laldas ji on
concluding the chapter said, “This description of Garha is over: Next
pertaining to ‘Parna’ (Panna ji) would be narrated as per the Divine Order of
the Supreme Lord.
